Our Food Safety Policy
Nutria Food Sdn Bhd is committed to source, select fresh raw vegetables and fresh fruits from reputable farmers and suppliers in Malaysia and to supply them to our customers meeting their expectation and requirements.
Our activities and scope of food safety management system cover:
Receiving, Processing, Sorting, Packaging and Dispatch of Ready-To-Wash (RTW) Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
Our processing is carried out within a premises with the necessary infrastructure and environment that meet industry best practice in food safety through conformance to international standards ISO 22000:
2005, Guidance in PAS 220: 2008 (now known as ISO/TS 22002-1), International Codex CAC Code of Practice in Sanitation & Hygiene & in MS 1480 HACCP requirements & the Malaysian Food Act 1983 & Food Regulations 1985.
Through these international food safety systems and initiatives, we are committed to ensure food safety in the raw material supply chains through our role in communication and evaluation of our suppliers against basic food safety requirements. As part of the FSMS / HACCP implementation we are committed in continual improvement of Good Hygiene and Sanitation Practices generally known as Pre-requisite Programme (PRP) as described in ISO 22002-1: 2009 – -“Prerequisite programmes on food safety – Part1: Food manufacturing”
The Company Food Safety Policy, the combined control measures in the documented FSMS system and in the PRP system are effectively communicated through the FSMS team to all members of the Company at operational levels for effective implementation and maintenance.
The quality policy and a set of measurable food safety objectives are reviewed annually for suitability and effectiveness.
